3. Wine Dinners

AFL Finals ~ State of Origin Winemaker's Dinner with Punt Road Wines (Yarra Valley, VIC) and Geoff Weaver Wines (Adelaide Hill, SA) ~ Friday 18th September 2009 from 7pm ~ Join Kate Goodman from Punt Road Wines & Geoff Weaver from Geoff Weaver Wines and enjoy a 6 course degustation dinner, matched with a fabulous selection of wines from both wineries.  Experience footy finals in Melbourne with a difference - see what these wonderful, regionally focussed wineries have got to offer, talk with the winemakers, and enjoy some inter-state rivalry (yes, the footy will be on in the Bar for quick updates)! Only $99 per person or Dine and Stay in a Queen Spa room for $289 including the wine dinner for 2.

We hold regular winemakers dinners at both Verona Restaurant and Clancy's Grill, which include a 6 or 7 course degustation menu complemented by fine wines from various wineries. Our previous dinners have included ‘Voyager Estate’, ‘Shadowfax’, 'Tamar Ridge', 'Red Hill Estate', 'Seppelt' & 'Mitchelton' with the winemaker presenting on the evening to an intimate group of 20-40 guests. Usually priced between $80 - $100 these nights have been a huge success in the past & will continue on various dates throughout the year.
